Motorola MoCA 2.0 Adapter for Ethernet Over Coax with MythTV on Linux

This video describes how to connect a pair of Motorola MoCA 2.0 adapters, shows a local network speed test, and plays a video with MythTV using the MoCA adapters.

The MM1000 MoCA Adapter uses a home’s coaxial cable wiring to create a fast and reliable Ethernet connection between a router and any device with an Ethernet port.  With speeds up to 1,000 Mbps, bonded MoCA 2.0 beats wireless for speed, latency, reliability, and security.  The adapter transmits over the same coax cables as your cable TV or fiber-optic service with no interference.  It does not work with Direct TV, Dish or other satellite TV, AT&T Internet, and AT&T U-verse coax networks.  A point of entry (PoE) filter is included to prevent unauthorized access to your MoCA network.  Setup is easy and requires only connecting the cables with no need for configuring the MoCA adapter or re-configuring your router in most cases. Friendly and professional USA customer support is available, and a two year warranty is included.  Model  MM1002 is a pack of two model MM1000 MoCA adapters.
